“The Minister for Health, Simon Harris opened the INMO’s new Richmond Education and Event Centre, on Friday, April 20, 2018.  It was  formerly the Richmond Hospital which closed its doors in 1987 and moved to Beaumont Hospital.  The INMO bought this building in 2014 and refurbished it to a very high standard, and now intend to use it as centre of excellence for the delivery of education courses to members.  This magnificent building will also be an exciting new event centre for Dublin where rooms can be rented for meetings, small conferences or social events.  INMO General Secretary, Phil Ni Sheaghdha said:  “The INMO has a proud history of providing education programmes to members having delivered its first post graduate programme in the Richmond 80 years ago.  We are delighted that this former hospital will be the centre to deliver education to nurses and midwives and we look forward to hosting not only education but also outside events in this beautifully restored building into the future.”
