National Competency Assessment Document (NCAD)

My name is Rebecca Lewis and I am a former nurse, currently studying a Master’s in User Experience Design at IADT. As part of my studies, I am undertaking a major research project and thesis on the topic of student nurse learning and the National Competency Assessment Document (NCAD). I am specifically researching if and how the NCAD assessment document and process could be transformed into a digital application, and what benefits might occur from this.

I am currently recruiting eligible nursing students to participate in my research, and I would be very grateful for your involvement. To this end, I am trying to arrange some one-on-one interview sessions as part of the research in order to learn about your valuable thoughts and insights.

The meeting will take about 30-45 minutes and will be held remotely over Zoom.

I am trying to recruit a small number of nursing students to participate in a card-sorting exercise as part of my research. The exercise takes between 5-10 minutes and a link to it can be found here: https://ows.io/os/nsqdp3u5. I wondered if there is any way to get the word out to Irish student nurses and students through your website. I require a total of 10 participants. I am having trouble recruiting students as I am restricted in how I reach out to them. I cannot contact the universities and must do it through word of mouth.
