My name is Courage and am currently working on a research project titled "Food Waste in Ireland, Assessment, Environmental & Economic Burden, and Mitigation Strategies." This project is being supervised by Dr Anushree Priyadarshini and Dr. Paul Hynds.
We aim to quantify the volumes of household food waste generated across Ireland, identify food waste habits, and assess the environmental and economic losses incurred from the waste. To achieve this, we have developed a short 10-minute multiple-choice survey that we are currently circulating.
To make our findings representative of various people groups and locations in Ireland, we are seeking assistance in distributing the survey. We kindly ask if your facility(The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation) would be willing to share the survey via your social media platforms or pass it along in your network. Participants who complete the survey will receive a free e-brochure with valuable food waste management tips when the survey is closed.
We encourage participants to fill in the survey multiple times, based on their weekly food activities.
We also plan to give out a food waste management E-brochure to participants who may be interested when the survey is closed.
